No exceptions.

Most systems promote any signal that looks profitable. We don't. Every one of our 108 active signals had to clear all nine of the following gates before being placed on the card. Not seven. Not eight. All nine. This is the filter that protects the system's integrity.

Capped ROI — Minimum 15% Return on investment calculated with a cap at 7.5x cost, preventing single fluky massive wins from distorting the stats.

Net Win Rate — Minimum 15% The signal must return more than it costs across its fire history. Wins only count when the return exceeds the cost.

Positive Median Net P&L The median result must be positive — not just the average. This eliminates signals that look good on paper but lose more often than they win.

Minimum 40 Historical Fires We don't promote signals with small sample sizes. 40 fires is the minimum — enough history to prove the edge is real, not luck.

Minimum Hit Rate Threshold A signal must demonstrate a genuine strike rate above the baseline for its bet type and price range before it qualifies.

Positive Expected Value (EV 55+) The signal must demonstrate positive expected value — it earns more than it costs at the market prices it targets.

Short-price Exclusion ($1–$2) We exclude all short-priced favourites. The return on $1–$2 runners cannot justify the risk, regardless of how the other gates score.

Large Field Exclusion (13+ runners) Racing becomes a lottery in fields of 13 or more. We don't play lotteries. Signals only fire when field size is manageable.

Drifter Exclusion If the market is drifting out on a runner our signal likes, we pass. The market knows things. We respect what prices are telling us.

What survives is the card. The bets that clear all nine gates are the only bets we place. We never chase a bet that didn't qualify. We let the system work the way it was designed to.
